Introduction to Relational Somatic Psychology is a series of eight one-day workshops that teach about Bioenergetics and stimulate self-growth. Bioenergetics is truly cutting edge therapy as it incorporates the process within the body AND the mind, and offers a theoretical basis for integrating both. This workshop series helps you learn more about how your own personal development has been impacted by your experiences growing up. You will also learn the good news that development is an on-going process, and that with Bioenergetics you can become more grounded, more aware of your body sensations, more open to pleasure, and more available for heart-felt connections with others. |

Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE): USING THE BODY TO HEAL Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) is a breakthrough in trauma recovery and stress management. It is a body-centered method of recovery that helps release the deep chronic tension created in a body during a traumatic or stressful experience. It is easily learned, immediately effective and self-empowering. This method has been used successfully in over 10 different countries with families, organizations, and schools in diverse populations and cultures. David Berceli, Ph.D., a Bioenergetic therapist and creator of Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), presented his two-day workshop in April, 2008 which addressed trauma and introduced TRE to the San Diego community. This workshop was co-sponsored by the San Diego Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis and Living Ubuntu. Among the many enthusiastic testimonials were: “Excellent—the education of the trauma process and exercises have already added value to my life.” “Just what I needed to experience to move toward integration.” “It was a wonderful participatory, eventful experience.” “It was very rich—deep, thorough, beautifully and compassionately presented with grace and humor.” Check back with us for the next workshop! |
